The World Famous Willie Arthur Smith Marching Cobras entertained us at the closing session of Connection Point.
After parading around the trade show they did a little drumming and dancing.
You can watch a short video clip here: Marching Cobras (3 min wmv)

At the end of the final Connection Point session it’s time to draw winners in all the drawings going on.
One that NAMA has been running as a membership incentive was a chance to win a video iPod (sponsored by yours truly).
The winner was Krystil Smit who was not present.
Hopefully the incentive was helpful. I think that during the time the promotion was running NAMA has had a couple hundred new members. Someone correct me if that’s not right.

The twins were having a great time.
Actually I don’t really think they’re twins.
This is one of those, “someone put me up to it pictures.” I do think they share the same hairdresser though don’t you?

There’s no way to show every exhibitor here, although maybe that’s an idea for next year.
The Connection Point provided a great place for people to get together and learn a little more about the services that companies have to offer.

Making Mardi Gras happen was the job of these MOKAN volunteers.
They went a little bead crazy I think.
The feather boas and hats made the atmosphere perfect.

If you want to get jazzed about NAMA you gotta have a jazz band.
These folks performed outside the Connection Point area.
We hope you enjoyed them!

Some of you might say, “Chuck, there are some things you just shouldn’t show on a blog.”
You could be right. Our Connection Point final session was Mardi Gras theme. Can you tell?
Who is this famous bead collector?
