NAMA’s Agribusiness Leader of the Year is George Thornton, Agriliance.

He was presented the award this morning during the opening general session. George sees a bright future for agribusiness.

He explains what the award means to him in a short interview I did after the session.

I didn’t get to make it to the ABEF golf tournament but I hear is was very successful in raising funds for the foundation.

I was able to obtain one picture from the event.

It’s a rough job but someone has to do it.

The conclusion of the day Wednesday is the Best of NAMA Awards. There’s way too many to try to list here. A list will be published by Agri Marketing Magazine.

One of the things you have to face here at NAMA is being confronted by a college student who wants you to buy an ABEF auction ticket. At least you have a possibility of winning a Dell 37″ High Def LCD TV.
