Building Your Brand: Creating Lasting Emotional Bonds With Your Consumers

Join Bill Shelton, of Left Field Creative, as he shares a highly successful approach to creating a comprehensive brand identity, position, and personality for your product or brand on Thursday, June 9, at 1:00 pm central time.

This step-by-step process will give you the tools to start re-branding and re-positioning the moment the session ends.  This highly popular approach recently helped St. Louis-based charity, Our Little Haven, develop a brand position that scored an astounding 99% approval rating with both existing and potential donors — with one supporter commenting, “If you had explained what the organization does in these terms in the past, I would have started giving you money a long time ago.”

In spite of threatening weather earlier, the sun eventually shined down in Lake Geneva, WI on May 26th for the annual Badger/Chicago/Cornbelt NAMA Golf Outing. Held at Hawk’s View Golf Course for the past 10 years or so, the event drew golfers from a four state area for fun and networking.

This year’s winning team was Ralph Brocks, Randy Groff of The Mosaic Co, Pat Konen of Konen Advertising and Troy Schroeder of Broadhead + Co (Troy Schroder not included in photo). Hole sponsors included Bock & Associates, Charleston|Orwig, Equity Creative, Farm Progress, Hoard’s Dairyman, Iowa Farmer Today, J.L. Farmakis, Land O’Lakes, Morgan & Myers, Open Roads, Udder Tech, Inc, UW Madison Student Chapter & World Dairy Expo. The beverage cart was sponsored by Farm Industry News, Hay & Forage Grower, Corn & Soybean Digest, Beef, National Hog Farmer.

Proceeds from this year’s event will go to the UW Madison Chapter, who assisted with the event by acquiring door prizes, soliciting hole sponsors and ran a hole contest on site.

Midlands NAMA Tours Werner Park

Written by NAMA on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 , 8:36 am

Storms moved out in time for the Midlands Chapter to wrap up their program year with a tour of the Omaha Storm Chasers’ brand new Werner Park on May 24, which also happened to be T-Shirt Tuesday.

Following the tour, attendees got to watch the Storm Chasers beat the Tucson Padres while enjoying dinner on the Party Deck.  The state-of-the-art park includes a dugout suite near 3rd base, in addition to 14 more typical air conditioned suites.  It’s very family-oriented with a Fun Zone for children, in addition to a basketball court and wiffleball field.  The whiffleball field replicates the Storm Chaser’s former home at Rosenblatt Field.
