Annual Badger/Chicago NAMA Golf Outing a Sunny Success

The sun was shining and the weather was perfect for a day on the links. On Thursday, June 4, members of the Badger and Chicago NAMA chapters enjoyed the annual NAMA golf outing at Hawk’s View Golf Club in Lake Geneva. Approximately 30 participants from both chapters made their way to the course, choosing either the classic golf contest or the Hack ’n’ Slash challenge. Several sponsored holes featured additional challenges to earn extra prizes. Challenges included: closest to the pin, longest putt and furthest drive to land in the fairway.

Both the Badger and Chicago NAMA chapters appreciate all the sponsors, including the beverage cart sponsor, who kept their players hydrated on the course and for sponsoring the golfer gifts. Following play, members and guests shared laughs about their round of golf and networked. Several awards were given following a tasty dinner – complete with “Wisconsin Mac ‘n’ Cheese” that included brats and a pretzel crust. Members of each winning team received an engraved trophy. However, with a beautiful day to golf, eat and drink with friends and colleagues, it is safe to say that everyone won.
