Members of the North Central NAMA chapter gathered on Thursday, June 11, for a tour of Redhead Creamery and Jer-Lindy dairy farm in Brooten, MN.

After a little bit of history about the farm, members listened to a presentation on how various cheeses are made and how the farm and the creamery operate together.  Members were then treated to an amazing lunch that included some of the delicious cheeses made there at the creamery.  Afterwards, members were taken on a tour of the dairy farm.

Following the farm tour there was a wine & cheese pairing where various cheeses from the creamery were paired with wines from Burr Vineyards, a Minnesota-based vineyard located in Brandon, MN.  The tour capped off with a delicious dessert, a little wine and cheese shopping and a group photo.  Thanks to the Jennissen and Sjostrom families for all of the delicious food, the fabulous wine and for a truly educational and inspiring experience.
