Cornhusker NAMA & Video Marketing
The chapter learned tips and tricks about creating videos for marketing and social media, at their most recent Cornhusker NAMA meeting, held at UNL’s Innovation Campus.
First, Doug Carr from Firespring talked about some of the basics of writing a video and organizing a shoot. He focused on some of the “old school” rules, but adapted them to shooting with an iPhone.
Then attendees heard from Tyler Thomas, who is in charge of social media content for the University of Nebraska. He gave a bunch of ideas about repurposing content and adding motion to catch people’s attention, along with some great ideas from his experience of working with a staff of interns.
Next, they received a tour of the University’s Food Processing Center.
