At the 2006 ABEF Golf Tournament, Tuesday April 18, 2006, you’ll not only get in a great round of golf, but you’ll also get an adventure! That’s because WinterStone Golf Course is the only golf course in America that sits above an active limestone mine. Around 3:00 p.m. you’ll hear and feel a rumbling from underground as miners blast the limestone that will be hauled out of the ground for processing. A chartered bus will leave the Hyatt Regency Crown Center at 11:30 a.m. to take everyone to the golf course and a boxed lunch will be provided. Tee time begins at 1:00 p.m. and a golf awards ceremony and reception will follow the outing at the golf course. The price is $125 per golfer.
