More Postcards From Kansas City
Here’s the next installment in Carol Anderson’s NAMA Convention update.
Greetings from Kansas City!
Today, we congratulate the student marketing team from University of Florida for taking top honors in the annual student marketing competition. Each year, we are impressed with the professionalism, poise and promise of the students who participate in the marketing competition – and this year certainly is no exception.
The NAMA Blog is sponsored by Successful Farming.
We also salute former NAMA President and Meredith Publishing Executive Tom Davis on attending his 30th straight NAMA Agri-Marketing Conference. Tom has made and continues to make tremendous contributions to NAMA and we are lucky to have him as a member. Tom, here’s to seeing you at 30 more Agri-Marketing Conferences!
As this year’s conference draws to a close, we leave Kansas City with new relationships established, old ones renewed and new and inspiring ideas for making our businesses more effective. This is an exciting time to be working in agriculture and we must not lose sight of the important role our industry plays on the world stage.
Now, our attention turns to the fall Agribusiness Forum on Nov. 11-12 at the Hyatt Regency-Kansas City, where we will explore relevant issues and trends in agriculture including the emerging rural lifestyle segment and more. Please mark your calendar now and plan to join us!
Please log on to www.agwired.com for more coverage of this year’s Agri-Marketing Conference. The 2009 Agri-Marketing Conference will be held in Atlanta. Hope to see you there!
